A friend and I made this video for the Vassar Youtube contest, which asked for a 2-5 minute portrait of Vassar College for their Youtube channel. Our portrait shows what it feels like to sit back and watch a day go by at Vassar. For this, we woke up around 6 one morning to film the sunrise, and then biked around campus over the next few days catching the general activity of everyday Vassar. I'm not sure the video captures much of Vassar's vibrance and uniqueness, but it is a nice reminder of how beautiful a college can be.
To achieve our smooth camera work we used a steadycam on bikeback, along with some after-imaging on the computer, if you were wondering.
